Niche tools that might come in handy!
The point of woodworking is to buy incredibly specific (or weird) tools, and then find somewhere to put them. In that spirit, here are a few of my favourites.

    Often times the simplest solutions tend to be the best. What mic are you using? I've looked at a few similar models and always wondered how they sound but in your environment, it's perfect. With the exception of when you turn your head away from the mic, it's a very nice sound without any background echo or noise.

    Have been using one of these for about two years now it’s been great. I only bought it as temporary solution but haven’t upgraded yet. I improved it by using it with a cyclone separator. Then found the stock hose can come off and 50mm transparent flexible hose (I found on Amazon) push fits straight in, if you ever think of going that route. Really improved the suction through the cyclone 👍🏻

    why do it on in the inside? lol use a door stopper, or a piece of rope tied to the outside of the gate to the fence or something

    • @TiniestWorkshed
      @TiniestWorkshed Місяць тому

      The problem with a door stopper is that the shed door drops down to concrete, and I don’t want to drill a fixed stop into it. The fence is only on the far side, so a rope to there would stop it closing, but not from opening further (which is how damage would happen)!

    Dang, the price! Even in the US. I may be upgrading my router table in the near future. Adding a router table to the wing of my table saw was the best addition to my little shop. It may seem redundant to have a second tool that can do many of the things you can do on a table saw, but having the option is invaluable. The two tools may do the same thing but they do it differently and that's what makes having the option so great. New subscriber. Can't wait to check out more of your videos.

    • @TiniestWorkshed

      I’ll keep that in mind re tool links! A quick Amazon etc search for tourniquet will readily turn up results. Always get at least two, and unpack one immediately to regularly practice with - and don’t use that one in an actual emergency! You’ll almost certainly never need it, but if you do you’ll want to already know how to use it.

    What a bizarre situation! At this point, I believe I would ignore without opening any correspondence from this person. I am a musician who does some composing and I understand how exposed it feels to "put yourself out there" and share one's creative efforts. In my case, it would/does not offend me if after listening, someone comments, "That style is not for me", but to imagine them re-writing my work, (as it sounds to be the case for you) is simply beyond comprehension. There is so much of the unpleasantness of life over which we have no control, but in this case, you can be in control just by pushing delete. Keep creating!🙂
